Our plastic-free sugarcane takeaway containers are made from rapidly renewable sugarcane pulp, a by-product of the sugar refining industry. These 500ml natural bagasse disposable container bases are microwave and oven safe. Our plant fibre takeaway food containers are made from reclaimed and rapidly renewable sugarcane pulp – a by-product remaining after the juice has been extracted from sugarcane refining (that would otherwise be burned). Sturdy and versatile, these sugarcane food containers can handle a wide variety of hot and cold foods, including soups and curries (dine-in only). These disposable food containers are grease and water-resistant, with a leak-proof and secure lid – perfect for food deliveries. These sugarcane bagasse containers are microwave-safe and oven friendly up to 220°C for 20 mins. They are refrigerator and freezer friendly, but please test freezer applications to see if it suits your product. Note: the matching PET, PP, nor PLA lids are not microwave or oven-safe. PET & PP lids are made from conventional plastic and are non-compostable, and our bioplastic PLA lids are made from Ingeo™ and certified industrially compostable (AS4736).
